VintageRig is pleased to offer you this Hot Cat 45W amplifier by Bad Cat — in as new state and coming directly from its first owner who barely used it after buying it new in 2024 (cf. July 2024 serial + 2023 as the date of manufacture of the amplifier, as displayed on both its input and output transformers).

The award winning Hot Cat amp was introduced in 2005 to great accolade. As pleased as they are with the original, the time had come for a whole new Hot Cat. Bad Cat took everything they have learned over the last 20 years and applied it to this limitless reimagining of the Hot Cat. This two channel amplifier comes now with two gain modes per channel. The Hot Cat provides virtually limitless gain combinations as well as studio quality reverb, and an all new fully buffered effects loop. Channel 1 features the signature Bad Cat sparkling clean tone with brilliant highs and abundant lows. Channel 2 is a flame throwing high-gain channel with extraordinary string-to-string note definition and rich harmonic content. In Channel 2, you can now toggle between two distinct flavors of gain from crunchy blues to metal.
